Stockholm Uluslararası Barış Araştırmaları Enstitüsü (SIPRI), dünyanın en büyük 25 savunma ve havacılık sanayii şirketiyle ilgili bir rapor yayımladı. SIPRI tarafından yayımlanan ve ilk kez Çinli şirketlerin dahil edildiği rapora göre; dünyanın en büyük 25 savunma ve havacılık sanayii şirketi arasından bulunan dört Çinli şirket, 2019 yılında 2018’e kıyasla satışlarını yaklaşık %5 oranında arttırarak 56.7 milyar ABD Doları değerinde satış gerçekleştirdi.
Listede sırasıyla 6,8,9 ve 24’üncü sırada bulunan Çinli şirketler ise şu şekilde: Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO) ve China South Industries Group Corporation (CSGC).
